Native digital currencies
To enable instant, low-cost global money transfers, Morse currently supports depositing and withdrawing in the following digital currencies:
USDC — a digital dollar issued by Circle Internet Financial, pegged to the US Dollar.
USDG — a digital dollar issued by Paxos Trust Company LLC, pegged to the US Dollar.
EURC — a digital euro issued by Circle Internet Financial, pegged to the Euro.
If your Morse Balance is in digital euros, you can add digital dollars, or vice versa, and they will automatically convert at no cost.
We always display the value of your Morse Balance and all transfers in both digital currency and the government-issued display currency, or cryptocurrency, of your choice.
When you add money to your Morse Wallet, it's converted into digital dollars or digital euros. When you withdraw to your local bank account, we automatically convert it back into your local currency.
Why does my deposit show an unfamiliar wallet name?
When you deposit a non-native token, the conversion is handled by MoonPay. This means the deposit in your Morse Wallet may show MoonPay's wallet name as the sender, rather than your original wallet address. This is normal — it's the same deposit you sent, just routed through MoonPay for conversion.
Understand digital dollars and euros
Digital dollars and digital euros are dollars or euros that exist online, instead of in a bank account or as cash. They are a type of stablecoin, meaning their value is backed 1:1 by US dollars or euros held in reserve.
If you live in Europe, your Morse Balance is stored as digital euros. Digital euros on Morse are fully compliant with the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework.
If you live outside of Europe, your Morse Balance is stored as digital dollars.
Additional supported cryptocurrencies
Morse supports deposits in 30+ additional tokens, such as USDT, Bitcoin, and SOL, across multiple blockchains, including Ethereum and Polygon.
When you deposit one of these tokens, it is automatically converted to the digital currency your Morse Balance is stored in, such as USDG or EURC.
You do not hold the original cryptocurrency in Morse — all deposits are converted to your wallet's main currency.
Availability may change based on liquidity. Fees, minimums, and processing times vary by token and blockchain network.
You can see the full list of supported tokens and blockchains in your region, along with current fees and exchange rates, directly in the Morse app.
Note: You can only withdraw USDC, USDG, or EURC on the Solana blockchain. Withdrawals to non-native tokens are not supported at this time.
🚨 Important note about sending unsupported tokens or using the wrong network
When depositing cryptocurrencies, you must only send supported tokens and only send via supported blockchains. Sending unsupported tokens or using unsupported networks may result in permanent loss of funds.
Recovery of those funds is not guaranteed. Please be careful to only send supported tokens on supported chains.
