Your USD account details work like a US bank account. Give your client your routing number and account number, and they'll pay your invoice straight into your Morse Wallet — even if you don't live in the US.
These payments arrive via ACH (Automated Clearing House), the US network banks use for electronic transfers.
Create your USD Account Details
You need USD account details switched on in your Morse app. See if you can get Account Details — availability varies by country.
If your client pays through a platform like Deel or Fiverr, check out our specific guides here.
Open the Morse app
Under 'Get paid in USD', tap 'View account details'
Select the options that best suit your needs
Tap 'View account details' to create your account number and routing number
They should only take seconds to set up. If you’re having issues setting up your USD Account Details, please email [email protected].
Share them with your client
Put these on your invoice or your client's payment form:
Routing number — from your Morse app
Account number — from your Morse app
Account type — Checking
Account holder name — your name exactly as it appears on your Morse account
Your client may also ask for your bank's name and address, both on your USD account details page.
Check how your client is paying you
How much you can receive in one payment depends on the kind of account your client pays from:
Business account: no limit
Personal account: up to 4,000 USD per transaction
If a client pays you as an individual from their personal account, this will count as a third party payment and be limited to 4,000 USD. Third party payments above 4,000 USD will fail and be returned to sender.
If your client is paying you over 4,000 USD, we recommend they pay you from a business account, or split a larger invoice into separate payments under 4,000 USD each.
Confirm your account if asked
Some clients send two test deposits, each under $1.00, to check the account is yours. This is called micro-deposit verification.
If this happens, open your Morse app to see the two amounts, then enter them where your client asked. For more, see Verify micro-deposits to link your bank account.
Fees and transfer times
USD deposits to your USD account details are free if you live in the United States. If you live in any other country, a 0.1% fee applies. See Account Details fees and limits for the full breakdown.
ACH transfers typically take 4–24 hours to arrive, though some banks take up to 72 hours to receive the funds. ACH doesn't run on weekends or US federal holidays. View more information on transfer times.
