Your USD account details work like a US bank account. Give your employer the routing number and account number, and they'll pay your salary straight into your Morse Wallet, the same way they'd pay anyone with a US bank account.
These payments are sent via ACH (Automated Clearing House), the US network for electronic bank transfers between banks.
Before you start
You need USD account details switched on in your Morse app. Check if you can get Account Details, as their availability varies by country.
Find your USD Account Details
Open the Morse app.
Tap 'Get paid in USD' to show your all of your USD Account Details information.
Share them with your employer
Fill in your employer's direct deposit form with:
Routing number — from your Morse app
Account number — from your Morse app
Account type — Checking
Account holder name — your name exactly as it appears on your Morse account
The name on the payroll form must match your Morse account name, or the payment can bounce back.
Your employer may ask for your bank's name and/or address, which you can also find on your USD Account Details page in Morse.
Confirm your account if asked
Some employers send two small test deposits, each under $1.00, to check the account is yours. This is called micro-deposit verification.
If your employer does this, open your Morse app to see the two amounts, then enter them on your employer's payroll site. For more, see Verify micro-deposits to link your bank account.
Fees, limits, and transfer times
USD deposits to your USD account details are free if you live in the United States. From other countries, a 0.1% fee applies. See Account Details fees and limits for the full breakdown.
There is no limit to the amount of money you can receive as salary to your USD Account Details. For payments that come from a third party (such as a friend or freelance client's personal account, as opposed to to a business account), there is a limit of 4,000 USD per transaction.
Your salary arrives with your employer's next pay cycle. Check transfer times for more information, but ACH transfers typically take 4-72 hours to arrive.
Morse supports Next-Day and Same-Day ACH. ACH doesn't run on weekends or US federal holidays.
