Learn more about staying safe on Morse

One account per user

Our identity verification process and account monitoring systems help make sure that each user only has one account.

Attempts to create multiple accounts for the same person will be denied, and if we discover that one person is using multiple accounts, you may be subject to account restrictions or closure.

Why this matters

Limiting accounts to one per user helps Morse prevent fraud and financial crime and ensures that you can easily pay the right people in the Morse Directory.

You can access your Morse Wallet from a new phone, but not from other people's phones

If you get a new phone, you're able to log into your Morse account and continue transacting as usual, as your account is linked to your email, not the actual device.

We do not support logging into your Morse account on other people's phones, and we don't support other people logging into their Morse account on your phone. We encourage you to keep one Morse account per phone, as mixing accounts and phones can lead to your account being restricted or closed.

We continuously monitor wallet activity for signs that your account may be compromised. If we detect anything unusual, we may temporarily pause access to adding or withdrawing money while we investigate and confirm that your account is secure.
